JSMM Chairman Shafi Muhammad Burfat attended meeting today on 23rd June 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland , with United Nations Special Procedure branch, Human Rights Officer Ms. Brenda Vukovic.

He presented detailed report on extra judicial Killing & force disappearance of JSMM workers in Sindh, Specially Governer Kolachi, Allah Wadhyoo Mahar, Ali Fakir Rajpar & Sohail Raza BHATTI & also discussed the case of illegally detained student leader Mr. Hafeez Pirzado , Sadaruddin Kolachi and others.
During meeting Mr. Burfat said International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, adopted by the UN General Assembly clearly states that the widespread or systematic practice of enforced disappearances & extra judicial killing constitutes a crime against humanity. United Nation Human Rights Working Group must act immediately on each single case of disappearances & extra-judicial Killing of JSMM workers in Sindh.
