Raja Dahir Bhanbhro was son of veteran Sindhi historian, writer and intellectual Atta Muhammad Bhanbhro and key leader, Joint Secretary of JSMM. He was abducted by heavy contingent of Rangers and Agency cops on the night of June 3rd 2015 after a targeted search operation in front of villagers. His family was also allowed once to meet him after his abduction during detainment. His bullet riddled body was dumped on July 5th 2015, in the mountainous areas of Nooriabad, found by police patrol who sent his body to Edhi Trust and they buried him as unclaimed body in a graveyard of unclaimed bodies in Hyderabad. After his identification as Raja Dahir Bhanbhro, affirmed by NADRA, matching his finger marks records, his family was informed on July 26th 2015. His body was recovered and buried with honorary rituals paid in his native town on July 27th 2015. Police confirmed that his dead body was found 20 days prior to identification, on July 5th 2015.
